Privacy policy
Keepnope is an app that isn't available yet. This website lets you join a waitlist so we can tell you when it launches. This policy explains what we collect on this site, why, and your choices. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Your email address, if you join the waitlist.
- A record of your request: the words next to the box you ticked and the date and time.
- The campaign tags in the link you used, if it had any (for example, a link from one of our videos). This tells us which posts bring people to the site.
- Visit statistics from Cloudflare Web Analytics, such as pages viewed, the site that sent you, your browser type and your country. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not track you across sites.
- Technical data, such as your IP address, which our host Cloudflare handles to deliver the site and block abuse. We do not save your IP address with your sign-up.
Why we collect it
- To send you one email when Keepnope launches, because you asked for it. We send nothing else unless you agree to more later.
- To count how many people are interested, which helps us decide whether and how to build Keepnope.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Who handles it for us
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site and stores the waitlist. Its servers may be outside Canada, including in the United States, so your information may be subject to the laws of those countries, including lawful access by their authorities.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until Keepnope launches and for 12 months after, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If we decide not to build Keepnope, we delete the waitlist within 30 days.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and we act on it within 10 business days.
- See, fix or delete your information, or cancel your request: email support@keepnope.com. We reply within 30 days.
- Complaints: please contact us first. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Keeping it safe
Only the Keepnope team can access the waitlist. No method of storing data online is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email, we'll ask for your consent again.
